Platform engineering is not a buzzword. It is a practical response to a specific problem: modern software delivery is too complex to continue solving independently in every team.

DevOps taught us that developers and operations should work together. Platform engineering takes that lesson one step further by creating a shared internal development platform that delivers the tools, patterns, and guardrails that engineering teams need.
